So, on a whim I tried throwing a bunch of daggers I happened to have at a bunch of monsters that were headed my way, and lo and behold I killed a couple of them... So I started experimenting with it a little more and I discovered that if you use the command "throw <object>" you can control what object is hurled at your enemies, but it doesn't add to your experience in the throwing skill. If you ready the throwing skill and use it, kills add to experience, but it throws the unlocked items from your inventory in what looks like reverse order of pickup or something.
So, is there a way to tell it what I want it to throw when using the throwing skill?

Yep, mark an item. So if you e.g. pickup a pile of coins and mark them, you'll use coins for throwing (untill no coins are left)Perkins wrote:So, is there a way to tell it what I want it to throw when using the throwing skill?
