The only error I get is can't find import site when i turn on the server.

So what you're is download crossfire server windows and extract it to D:\Crossfire Server. Then you downlod the maps and extract them to D:\Crossfire Server\Share\Maps\. Last you connect to it via local host.

I guess you have to put stuff where everyone can get it if you where running a public server; come one there is no tutorial or anything to tell peole how to put one up un less you know what they are talking about(they don't state what they are talking about)

I've been bored so I have been reading stuff in the forum, logwad.

I put temp,share,var folders in my ftp gumbyscout.fateback.com,I changed the settings file to aquire my hosts name; that is all I did, but I did download maps, but no matter what it won't let me connect.

It won't let me connect to anything on both of those.

How do you get the archs from cvs?
