Playing on Metalforge, tried this on latest Windows client in both Win7 and WinXP, casting Cure Disease disease via either a Cure Disease scroll or paying for it at the House of Healers in Scorn will not cure whatever disease you're afflicted with. Valkyrie followers can use spells that are Path: Null.
Today on the Metalforge server I discovered an odd bug: it seems if you learn spells that are Path: Null (http://crossfire.real-time.com/spoiler/spells/magic.html) and then become a Valkyrie follower, they're not denied to you. I had Invisibility, Marking Rune and Slow, and I can cast them just fine ...
