I use red hat on this machine but my other machine (the wifes) uses windows.

I like to use GIMP it is a good program. The only downfall for linux that i have found is it doesn't have a program like Ulead Cool 3D. I love that program when i do web design. If anyone knows of a program like it let me ...

Here is another error code that i got. I did something different and got this error. I also installed the GTK Development Kit into the same directory as the RUntime enviroment kit.

Ok here is the error it gives to me when it crashes. I get a box in teh middle of screen saying program UNKNOWN causes illegal error but in the dos window it gives this message last .

Ok i am able to get on this board from my windows computer. I am going to cut and paste the error i get alot when i load upt he client. This seems to be causing the crash. If not i will post what it says when i get the crash.

I have found that the 1.6 gtk windows client is extremely unstable. I have it running on my other machine using windos ME and if you try to do just about anythign it crashes. And it is not giving any good error messages either. It is only giving GDK warnings.

If anyone knows how to fix this let me ...

Found a small problem with the client for windows v1.6

I installed it on a Win ME system and got it to run (crashes on occasion) but on thing i did notice is that I can't go diagonal with it. I can go up,down,left and right but no diagonal. Anyone else with this problem???

I had the same problem but fixed it.

First you need to read the running.txt file it is in the programs directory program files/crossfire gtk client/.

In that there is a link to download the GTK 2.0 for win32
install that.
