I don't know who or how, but the generated Makefile doesn't do anything interesting by default.

make handbook does interesting things, however.

If you want the faces, you'll need an arch directory in your crossfire lib directory, leading to the arch. tree, as well as having some 'giftrans ...

by reading them again and again and finally trying them. (preferably at localhost)


What do you do if your apartment-reshuffling script walks you into a wall? :)

How do you use client scripting?

I'm trying to figure out a good set of commands for scripts to manipulate the item tabs. Suggestions are very welcome. Also:

What do you have your scripts do?

How do you debug your scripts?

(What language do you write your scripts in?)

Along with monster and item descriptions, and lists of spells, alchemy recipies turn up in books. There's three places I know of to read books:


The public libraries

There's one in Scorn, and another in Navar. They don't allow borrowing, so the books are chained to the shelves. :)
