not cursed cursed shoes of granite

when i create shoes of granite (on metalforge) i find some shoes of granite in the forge, as expected. these shoes are identified. nothing wrong with that, except that they do _not_ show as cursed.
As soon as i 'sell' them (i get nothing for them) they show up as cursed items, and also praying uncurses them.

My guess would be that you failed your detect_curse chance.

Well I'd guess that your guess about my guess was correctly guessed then.
I'd further guess that you might want to get a DM to take a look at them in game, and guess his guess.
