Aggravation broken ?

My horn of Aggravation does'nt aggravate anything anymore... Is it me or aggravation is broken ?

Same here, my horn of aggra fails. could it be the monsters your using it on be too high level?

wasn't the behaviour of charm changed recently?
anyone know if that could cause it to occur?

Is aggravtion on the same page as charm is? If so, then when the developers downsized charm effects, they no doubt inadvertantly downsized aggravation effects to.

my understanding is charm is the opposite of agravation, and I'm guessing that toning charm done did turn down aggravation as well.

The spells were not toned down, The mood change code was fixed so that now monsters get saving throws against these spells which they werent getting before due to a loophole/ bug.
chance of effect = 20 + min( 50, 2 * ( spell level - monster level ) )

Question tho.. Aggravation is meant to be bad for the player(I.E. attract monsters to him while he may otherwise remain unseen) so shouldnt it automatically work every time? Yes some people may use it to make their lives easier by just getting stuff to come to them, but is that still not the way it should work?

It makes monsters really, really mad. enough to make a charmed monster hostile.

True, but like most magical items don't they time out? Wands have charges. A wand and a horn are both magic. I don't think it's a bug.
