Anybody have any clue how to get to this apart from guild portals? Or where I could find clues pertaining to it's location? Would be appreciated, am running out of stuff to do.

There are portals only in guilds...

Is that, only way to Nethack is through guild portals? Or there are only portals in guilds? Cuz I seem to remember a swirling vortex or two sucking up items in my appartment

The only way to get to the Nethack maps are from a portal that is only found in a guild.

Access to the portal has to be purchased too, 35 amulets of lifesaving if I remember right.

20 amulets only in fact (but that's a lot anyway, even if there are many guild members).

Is this going to be changed? Map access I mean, because even if it requires a horrendously hard quest to gain access to it, I'd rather hafta do that then be forced to join a guild or ask for a current guild member to portal me in. Not that I dont like guilds: just the idea that I'd hafta request entrance to one.

I agree with you : Nethack maps are fun, and everybody should have access to it in a way or another...
