i recently stumbled upon a recipe for the cloak of Acid Proofing.
nice, wanted to make some of those cloaks. I got the ingredients and wanted to put them in a tanning bench. Surprise... the gaelotrolls corpse (one of the ingredients) weights 300 kg, and the bench cant contain more than that... so i simply couldnt put in all the ingredients needed for that cloak!
maybe the bench should be able to contain 350 kg... that would be sufficient

What you are experiencing seems like a bug, although it is strange no one has discovered somehting this obvious for so long.
Although increasing the capacity of the bench is one way to do it, it would probably be a better idea to decide that perhaps a hand is sufficient for the whole cloak.

I've tested the issue on metalforge it does appear to be a problem.
There are two tanneries that I know of, one in Navar the other one in Scorn. The weight limit on both of them is set to 'container 300000' , that is 300kg. So, basically it is not possible to fit anything heavier than 300kg in them.
The recipe for the cloak requires 310kg of ingredients.
I can see several solutions: 1) Change the cauldron archetype to have higher default weight 2) Change the maps to have tanning benches accept 310 kg or higher 3) Change the recipe for the cloak, replace gaelotroll's corpse by something else
Any comments, suggestions are most welcome

Maybe the weight of the troll has been changed as well which would increase the body part weights. In anycase the alchemy cauldrons should be able to hold more, esp. the ones with no_pick set.
