the Essence of Flame of dexterity claims (dam+5) but does not increase my damage when I wear them. (Or at least does not increase my damage in the display GTK)
Is this increase in damage tied to a weapon and as such my claws(as you know, im a dragon) are not getting it added (if so is that intentional) or is it broken?

I seem to be affected as well. I am an elf and was wielding a sword at the time of experimentation.

+dam modifier does not immediately take effect in the client(gtk) stats window, while all other stats change the instant you wear flame of dexterity.

Also tried killing couple of things (perhaps client stats will be updated later ?) My damage seems to be the same with or without the braces.

This is a bit offtopic but my shining finger +5 does not give any ac bonus, are these two issues related by anychance

rather late to response...

bracers give one ac. bracers+5 should give +6 ac, but... my experience is they wont give any ac (or at most 1)

For example, i have bracers+5 (Wc+1)(Ac+1)
if i apply them, my Wc drops from -108 to -114, my Ac remains the same -24.

I think there is an ac limit.

Nope, no ac limit, just extremely extremely hard to get really high acs. As far as I can tell(have had -30 ac and lower)

I got the AC bonus from them, but not the damage increase.

Maybe your damage is at the maximum?
