I just noticed that we have several open feature requests on Sourceforge.net (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=36 ... unc=browse
The headlines are as follows:
* Support for esd
* Pickup for sold object
* Add Haluzination
* Add blessings and curses to scrolls
* It should be possible to curse and bless
* More effects of confusion
* Corrosion should be seperated from Acid.

What do you think about these ideas? Anyone who has time to think about new ones or even to implement those?

Support for esd? Does anyone even have sounds enabled?

If I got it right, this dude thinks autopickup will do no good for unpaid items. I can only agree.

btw, shouldn't this be either implemented in the game or rejected already? The request was posted 2001-10-26.. does anyone ever check the RFE?

Autopickup is disabled for unpaid items. I'm sure about that since I use it all the time.
Those requests are just too old for me, and need to be closed.
Esd is old imho..
Remember that in kernel 2.6.0 we will probably have the merge of alsa and oss so there will be a great unification in sound code for linux, I think support for those/that is just ok. Nevertheless cf sounds simply does not work much
Sound server just need to be rewrited
(think that maybe I can do after some more experience with my chat program)
