Crossfire Forum

I have installed the gtk programe then the client 1.7 and both servers 1.6 and bigmaps but when i play there is no sounds. When I read the GTKClient programme it is written

"Can't open sfx/p=11.wavnosfx/pull.wav: no such file or directory"

( instead of pull.wav it can be hit1.wav or other wav files name)

I searched the game directory but I didn't find any wav file.
Does anyone know what can I do to correct that? Does anyone know where i can download them?

Sound support isn't really working server-side for now, so sounds aren't distributed with client.

You can find the 'official' sounds, in raw format, from Crossfire's CVS (check from http://sourceforge.net/projects/crossfire on how to get there, module is 'sound')
