I am not sure if this is a bug but I used to have lots of fun slaughtering chaos wyverns in a dark level under the ground with stealth on. They were not able to see me until I was right next to them. This does not appear to be the case anymore, my character is spotted al least 4 squares away with both elven boots and ring of thieves on. I don't have a habit of carrying a light source around so the obvious one is ruled out.

Also, is stealth supposed to show up on the perceive self? At the moment it does not.

What is your deity? FYI, can't have stealth with Valriel because of "valriel's light".

I worshiped Sorig when successfully used stealth to stay undetected and when it appeared to have no effect.

I have done some more stealth testing with the super strong golems in the ancient pupland. They never used to notice me before, now they can see me from 5-6 squares away in the dark cave underground with stealth on (I used to be able to stand 2 squares away form them and not be noticed)

In case my deity matters, I conducted my second experiment worshiping Ixalovh.

Did anyone experience anything like that? do post your successes/failures with stealth here.

While worshiping Devourer using nightfall/stealth I have remained unseen in the Demon TC as normal.
