Hmm, what about some images from crossfire for avatars? Those quake images don't really fit...

However it might be better to send them to hoxu directly so he could add them to the avatar page. Just had a look at the profile, you can't specify an external address for the image.

Yes.. I've disable it for now.

Maybe hoxu you can do some anonymous place where ppl can upload an image, then a script move them to the forum avatar dir or simply the forum allows to use images form that address.
You can do anonymous ftp both directly or via PHP form.
