Yes, Altars.
Take a peek at the high TC areas. ONLY the undead TC maps contain altars. Dragons, Humanoids, Demons don't have altars. Ehm? Like Gaea is the ONLY cult helping her followers in the high TC areas? O.o
Mind you, I'm not complaining, as I'm a Gaea follower myself. But I think something is WRONG here....
Altars SHOULD show up in every TC, not just the Undead TC. This is probably not a simple change, but it NEEDS to be made.

I think TC should be removed all together.. Off topic (of altars) but that has become the ONLY place 90% of people go for experience and equipment.. I understand maybe going to TC once in a while, but other places being more "worth your while", but actually.. TC is more worth-while than anything else.. I got most of my 10-12 Rings of War from there...same with Elrond, Ruling, high-level rods, etc.
When I did go there, I could earn 10 levels faster there in a day, than I could in a month anywhere else..
I wish the original map creator would modify it:
1) Remove the endless generators in lower TC..
2) Keep the experience but make the monsters 10x tougher.. In Dragon Training, for example, throw in some "Shadow Wyverns" or Chaos Dragons..
3) Require heftier fees to get into training, without being able to bypass the pay-altar..

I have to totally disagree w/ the "remove endless generators" in lower TC areas.
These areas provide training that is difficult if not impossible to get elsewhere. True, OTHER areas can provide decent exp. to the same players, but there are NO clues anywhere in Scorn OR in the Noob areas as to where said other areas ARE!!!. Also, ONE pass through the [not TC] area does not equal fighting for (say) half an hour in a lower TC.
For higher levels, YES, there are better places to go. Do we really need to block low-level endless spawns for ALL players because SOME higher-level chars. choose to abuse it? O.o I think not, but my opinion isn't an authority.

"back in the days".. I have been playing since ~92.. It's called exploration.. Some places will kill you, some won't.. It never was impossible for a newbie to level, but they did have to explore..
If you want to help newbies out, why not just start them at level 10 when they create a character and get it over with.. Lower TC's are a place where you can get from level 1-10 in a matter of minutes (with the right equipment -- wand, rod, etc...)
You know, the idea of TC was not BAD at all.. I like it.. I know as a newbie/older player I'd use it, but maybe it shouldn't be so easy to get to or get into.. I mean, c'mon.. See my last paragraph.. this map almost hands people easy levels.. It's designed in such a fassion that there is almost no fear of dying.. Just pull lever, stand on stairs.. kill 1 monster at a time if you want to..
Also.. TC stands for what.. training center.. not for the main part of the game, and for some people, the only part of the game.. I'm not trying to impose my game-play-style on others, but if the crossfire-gods wanted a 1-map game, they would have never gone to big-world-maps in the first place..
Maybe, at the very least, increase the admision cost to the TC..
..and yes.. remove the endless generators in lower TC.. If you want to use TC again, just wait for reset.. This would slow people down a bit, and maybe make exploration a bit more attractive..

It's late for me, and I'm tired, but I thought of something.
I'm done w/ the TCs, mostly. What I do now is expore. Then I die. Then I go back to the high TCs to get my levels back, then I go explore more. Exploring when I was lower level basically meant I died. Here and there I found places where I could fight and live, but mostly I just died. The TCs allowed me to know my foes ahead of time and have some chance to live AND kill, as well as recovering lost levels against a known foe.
As to the "w/ the right equipment/rod" .... what true Noob starts w/ the "right" equipment and/or "right" rod? Any Noob "starting" w/ such equipment has either had lots of help or helped himself from a higher alt. We should abolish the TCs because some players outfit their Noob alts w/ great equipment and level up quickly there? That hardly seems a good justification... : /
