Animator in Undead Church

I am currently running an open server (legend.dyndns.org) on nix.
I am attempting to receive the rank of Barron. I absolutely cannot hit the animator! I keep missing him.
One more thing - how can you finf the location of the altar for your god?

You're probably not high level enough to hit the animator... Maybe try holy spells like 'holy word'?
As for altars, if you follow a god then you did pray at an altar somewhere
Also, all gods have a temple in Scorn.

I found the altar... some trolls outside of Scorn. When did I do that. As far as the Animator. I started a new char. as the DM I took my Elf up to lvl 108 and he still missed. Hmmm... Attempting the *no cheat* this time. (grin)

What are you attacking the animator with?
More specifically, which attack type(s)?
There's a chance that you are missing each time because of the Animator's AC and your WC. Or, the attack type(s) that you are using, the Animator is immune to them (100% resistance)

For somebody running their own server, defeating the Animator requires level 5 literacy skill and the command 'browse archetypes grimreaper.

The only problem is that I'm pretty sure that there is no browse command actually implemented in the game itself.

As far as I know the Animator is a Grimreaper,and thus having 100% armour.So you should try to bless a weapon to mostrai (adds weaponmagic) or you use spells.
