Hi all,
as it's beeing discussed in the devel list i thought it would be good to make players participate on this and look for everyone's opinion.

So talking about spells like charm monsters and the like it seems like people wants those spells to give experience in the moment a certain creature is charmed in this case also, and not only give xp when the pet kills another monster for example.

So the question for the poll stands trying to get all the posible options from all of you :) You have 30 days to vote ;)

This has been a topic for the longest time.. I think whether you overpower a creature physically (kill it) or mentally (control it) you have earned the right to full experience from it..

Wish you guys would visit the topic of utility spells giving experience as well.. heal, bless, curse, etc...

Maybe all spells should give some experience when they 'work' to encourage everyone using more the whole variety of given spells. This way spellcaster wouldnt ever need to think if chosen tactic, say for instance paralyze spells, helps leveling up. All sorcerers would like it. No doubt they would.
...just thought :)

Well, this reminds me that while fear, paralyse, etc. do not hurt, they should help level sorc, so that CF isn't a mindlessly-hit-the-monster-with-everything type of game. If we could get sorc to 100, we'd all be fighting with more skill. 10% or 20% seems fair.

Fear, if high enough level, could cause instant death.. "goblin chief was scared to death by your fear".. death = experience..

Heal xp could be equivalent to level of caster and points healed..

etc.. etc..

identify.. equivalent to item power and or level... just some thoughts..
