I am using Mandrake Linux 9.1 and have compiled from CVS the bigmap, server, and client. I have installed the server and included the bigmap files with it. (einstein.bounceme.net).

I cannot move beyond certain invisible barriers inside Scorn and Stoneville. They are one way "lines" that I cannot pass through - which seems like a bug or at least a problem in my server/client/bigmap setup.

In Scorn when you go south towards The Jones' House you cannot move past the bit of water just north of the Inn. You can press down, run, anything - nothing will pass from North to South. To get around this I would travel east along this barrier until the Zoo and then head south. Coming from the south you can pass through this line but not the other way.

This occurs in Stoneville too. When coming from the ship (Port of Scorn -> Stoneville) you cannot get past the first curve in the road past the green bush. Unfortunately I haven't found a way to circumvent this and am stuck outside of Stoneville.

I have also tried my server on a WindowsXP machine and the problem still existed. I am including snapshots of the points where I cannot cross.

cf.mf.net had a similar problem last week.

(Also, it's easier to track potential problems like this if you include map coordinates. For instance, the problem maps in Stoneville are: /world/world_103_127 and /world/world_102_127)

A CVS checking took care of it of the invisible wall problem.

Thanks for the fix, I appreciate it. All is well on my server now. I updated the bigmap thinking that was the problem and didn't think that the server might have been the problem. I'm going to keep that in mind for the future. Anyways... Thanks again.
