Okay, I know WHY we have item power on items and the limitation, however I do not agree HOW it is computed (the max)..

Rather than griping, may I suggest that your possible item-power max would be based off of combined levels for characters over certain level (say when you get above level 75, your max power is 50% of all levels combined.. 5 areas, each level 50, overall level 75 (please don't pick on the math.. this is just an example), you would be able to use items of power 5*50*0.5 = 125)?

Once you get to level 110, your maximum allowable item power with current system would be 110.. Now I'm not saying that doesn't sound like a great big number, IF you're a low level person.. But at level 110 a person wearing 2 rings of elrond is not likely to get very far in the game.. Each one of the rings is +50 in power!

Seems like lately everything does a lot more damage to you.. You need to compensate with equipment that can protect you from damage.. Can't very well do that with such tough restrictions!

...either the above suggestion (for level 75 and up) OR allow Improve Item Power scrolls to work on already enchanted equipment and not just regular (junk) weapons and/or armour.. Maybe make it more expensive and/or rare..

The ratio overall level/allowed item power is a setting. On cf.mf.net it is set to 1, but it probably could be changed to something else.

I'm just thinking that current set-up makes having/looking for certain equipment pointless.. Like I mentioned.. I have 2 rings of elrond (1 I found 1 I bought, for a pretty penny mind you!).. I'm not going to waste my available power on 1 ring! I'd rather wear 2 rings of strife or some-such than 1 ring of elrond!

I'd rather loosen the power restrictions based on level.. Maybe once you reach level 110, there is no power restrictions.. You worked hard enough to get there.. Now it's time to explore, etc..

..but if there is an easy way (the ratio you mentioned) then sure.. Let's do it that way (if the server operators agree

..otherwise (actually probably a separate suggestion/question) can we level past level 110? If yes, what are the experience requirements for that? There is some sort of pattern to get to level 110, but after that I guess you need what, a trillion experience to get to 111? If not.. maybe the max-level limit should be higher.. 150..200..300.. some people like to keep playing..
