Where is the Goblin's chief?

I am trying to get Knighted, but I cannot find the goblins' Chief.
I thought I had found the right place when I discovered the cave
inside the mountain northeast of East Gate, but after clearing
both levels, I did not find a named head. Am I at the right place?

The castle quests usually have a bunch of random maps before the last one. Check 'who to see what map you are on. Final maps on those quests contain word "quest" I think :)

I know this is a REALLY old post, but hey, it's my hobby to reply to problems probably long since solved  .

If you look in the top left cell in scorn jail [northeast corner of scorn] you will find an "escape tunnel" under the bed. It will take you to an island, from which you can take a "rowboat" to goblin island. After a few levels down into the goblins' castle [careful, scorpions are dangerous for noobs  ], there is the goblin chief sitting on a throne with a couple of *fearsome* guard dogs.

You are referring to a different map, the 'head of the goblin chief' quest is found approximatly 20 squares due north of the sign outside the east gate of scorn.

The goblin's are on the (third?) level - the one with two stairways out.

The goblin chief is in the south central part of the map, but may move around.

The usage of 'seach-items chief may be helpful in the aftermath
