I'm not sure if this has been fixed in CVS or what maps version that server might be running.
I tested this out on crossfire.metalforge.net (v1.6.0)
The only time the door/gate closed for me was when I left the "workshop" area.
I could re-open the gate by standing in front of it again.
What has everyone else found or experienced?
Same thing, something different, etc.?

These workshops use a triggered marker object which is a newer object. When running from CVS you have to be sure your server (with arches) and map are compatible versions since if you just updated the maps or the server alone there may be issues like this.
If all the workshops are not functioning (and the grumm or hermes inns) then it is likely that you don't have the right arches or server code for the maps. If it is just one workshop then maybe it's a map bug. I'll look into this.

After testing a lot I couldn't reproduce this and then after re-reading the post saw that this had been fixed already anyway. I guess the tip off should have been the fee - 100pp is the old map price. These workshops have been redone and appear to work fine now (and now cost 200pp per player access instead of 100pp per map reset...)
