Newbie question :-(

I have a warlock character, already level 10 (or 9 when I die, heh), and I'd like to start using also prayers. I managed to learn praying from a skill book plus got a skill book, and joined a deity (tried several in fact),
BUT
I have only 1 grace point, even when I wear wisdom rings (getting me up to WIS=12)
SO
I can only cast turn undead, and only if I choose Lythander
SO
I can't gain any prayiing XP or cast any other prayer
Is there any way to go?

If you can cast turn undead, probably you can gain xp. Just a matter of doing enough turn undead to actually kill some guys, and get xp, and eventually level up...
Other solutions include: improving power, wisdom (which may require playing many maps before finding potions)

I tried that, but turn undead seems to only make the creatures flee, not harm them at all, so it seems I can't kill them that way (tried for a long while after creating an earth wall to isolate me with a bunch of zombies in the undead church of scorn)...

That second tip worked! It took me some time, but I managed to find enough potions and rings to improve my wisdom and power and get enough grace to cast holy word, the less expensive spell that can kill a monster iâs far as I could find! The really helpful item was a "ring of the Demon Priest"
Thanks,
