I am now level 93 or so, but there is a few maps that I still can't get through. One of them is Western Navar Tower, level 29, which is full of dragons and where magic does not work - I took a sneak look at the code and found there is a way, if I can kill a couple of dragons with karate and can become immune to cold (difficult when you are a fireborn); so this one is probably just a matter of improving my stats in karate.

However, I also looked a bit ahead and found that level 32 is a lot harder - since I have to overcome a room full of demiliches, arch dreads and a special wizard, initially without magic. How can I get past them at all?

Other options are improve stats such as CON and STR in order to improve your chances in that level.

Use hit and run tactics = damage the monsters and then flee to heal up. Always make sure you have an open escape route.

Look for help from other players.

In many areas of this map set, you don't have to kill all monsters in order to proceed to the next level. Sure, it is helpful - but not a requirement.

The hints mentioned above may be helpful to try here as well.
