Gday

Anyone able to help a Ubuntu noob to get sounds to work for crossfire : GTK V2 Unix Client 1.60.0.dev-r14516M (using v1-redux.glade)

I followed the following tutorial to install the client and server from source codes.

I also downloaded : http://sourceforge.net/projects/crossfi ... m/download

and used root to extract them to /

I tried extracting those files to the source folders, to my own user folder, but i just cant get the sound to work

Any help is appreciated

I'm not sure there are many sounds actually being played...

Also, sounds are probably not going to / but to the client's install directory.

How to get Sound to work in GTK V2 Unix Client 1.60.0.dev-r1
