bug skill scrolls

I found 2 skill scrolls
1. Scroll of Wood Lore
2. scroll of Sense Magic Lore (I think cuz I used it)
I applied the Sense Magic Lore scroll and it gave me woodsman lore and then disappeared. I still have the scroll of wood lore.
After reading the scroll of Sense Magic Lore the text box stated I could bind the Ready_skill Sense Magic, but as I don't have the skill I can't do that.
I can sell the scroll of wood lore but I am kinda annoyed about that.
talon the fireworm thief was the character this happened to.
