I use the windows GTK client and when i try to load it it freezes up and the console says unable to open documents and sound thing and it says choosing server 0

What version of Windows?

What version of the GTK runtime environment or where did you download the GTK runtime environment from?

I presume this freeze up also prevents you from actually playing, correct?
