It seems that the strong hold was made in-accessible from direct entry as a precaution for newbies, However the strong hold is supposed to be accessible via Filur's Caves, entered from the nearby Old Mansion.

However while I can get onto the stronghold map from the caves, the two exits from the entry room is blocked by undiggable earthwalls! This probably should be removed, or the map fixed to the right level for scorn. Inaccessible maps are just a pain.

Server is Metalforge, which I believe uses the latest updates.

ALSO... The Temple in Old Scorn could use a little more information to say the three 'Special' items, dagger, chalice, and crown, are needed. At the moment it is next to impossible to figure out what items are actually referred to without cheating. It would not make the quest any more difficult, and you still have 6 possibilities of what order the items should be in.


I would like to do these simple things myself, but no longer have access, nor a working cross edit, nor the time! (I get on a plane to China in a few days time!!!)

Scorn Mansion - Strange Tunnel (/scorn/mansion/str-tunnel)

So far I am unable to find this issue.

Upon entering the Strange Tunnel Map (x25, y1) there is a lever which will open the stone walls. In fact, this same lever will also open the stone walls on the other side of the map which leads to the Stronghold. For those who get stuck or locked in some where in the middle, a teleporter is available to get you out as well.
