Jewels and others

Dear forum-users,
since many years I'm using crossfire on a linux-computer with much interest (as long as there is time). During this time I'm wondering if it might be useful to append some additional jewels to the existing ones and some formulas in order to motivate some "alchemistry" (skill jewelry) to be done.
What do You think?
And where should I put them to in order to share them for the interested?
best regards,

Sounds interesting from the description.

A good place to post this kind of stuff to share material like this is on the patch tracker on SF

There could be more different qualitis of existing jewels. What about adding many formulaes that require equipment and jewels, andwhich results are dependant on quality and type of jewels?
Also, there could be some code which would be creating more realistic 'piles' of jewels. It could be using smaller pictures of jewels, randomly combined into a pile, what do you think?

I've just uploaded my suggestion/solution for an enhancement of jewels including some new artifacts. Hopefully You like it.
Also I would like to give the new formulaes a try
Yours sincerely,
