why don't we have a camp fire. it could be like a torch but makes more light and can't be picked up until it burns out. another thing you could make would be a tent. the tent would link to a map and would't be effected by map resets. maybe you could make a bedroll that would be like a portable bed? also fireworks. thay should be like a bomb only thay don't hurt you (much) and thay make pretty lightes. please tell me your suggestioons

also there should be a new class (insert sound of drumroll) ghost. tell me what you think

So, a longer lasting light source?

What about lanterns?
How is this different from the camp fire (other then by name, etc.)

Portable beds are very dangerous, since it could allow a player to proceed to a portion of a map (ex: map treasure room) and then loot that map after every reset. All other players who try to solve that map could be in a for a rather unpleasant surprise to make it all the way to the end and discover it already looted.

Care to ellaborate?
What can this race do that is unique to the other classes, skills, stat bonuses and penalties, etc.

However it might be more reasonable if limited to only work on the outdoors of bigworld. :)

What about monsters there? Player could escape from them quickly setting up a bed. I guess it should be tent, and it should be used up after applying.

Sorry about the wait i havn't been on lately. The difference between camp fires that allready exist and camp fires would be you can make camp fires.

Intriguing..

I suspect such a class would raise many questions in regards to why they can't pass through walls and doors.

And since they can't pickup any items, that will prevent them from having access to many skills (lock picking, missile weapons, 1H and 2H weapons, inscription, et al) too. They could never buy an item from a store - can't pick up the item and can't carry money. Can't be a member of a guild because they can't carry or pick up keys (same with apartments).

So,to allow access to some of these important functions - special exceptions would have to be made via server coding. Any volunteers?

Just give them a maximum weight limit of like 10. This would allow them to maniuplate small things, but not to carry lots of stuff. Perhaps set their maximum strength to like 2 or 3 or so... But make up for it with enhanced spellcasting abilities, no need to eat, and resistance to physical attack.

Making them weight 0 could be interesting :)
