Self explanatory. Place to have discussions regarding the code and how to compile.
I realize that we have a bug forum, but that only covers... bugs.

"
Spoilers and help requests" -forum can be -and have been- used when requesting help with compiling. On the other hand, Developers mostly discuss on the mailing lists (so we have heard). I think that's why there is no such forum, and I don't really see any need for it.

I totally agree with Hoxu.
Already too many places to discuss, no need to change forum, help one is fine

How about a poll concerning a developers forum?

poll=good idea. Some people really despise mailing lists (myself included)

Why should there be a developers' forum when we don't have any active ones using this board anyway? Well, Ryo is one but as you can see he prefers mailing lists as you can see..
I'm not absolutely against such forum but I think it could prove to be a bad idea to split the development discussions to several places.
I used to dislike mailing lists, too. I've changed my attitude a bit now.

... or maybe someone should go and program a forum frontend to the mailing lists

As in, so we can post on them with a metalforge forum account or something.
And as for active devs, I'd consider myself new but active

Well, if you subscribe with a web-based email address to the mailing lists you get nearly the same.
