Cant run the game because of python???

Whenever I try to run the Crossfire client, it says it cant find python24.dll so i downloaded it and put it in C:/python24 and copied it into system32 (i run on windowsXP). It is still saying it cant find python24.dll where do i put the file so it can find it..???

What version of the client are you using?

The client is the newest version, Windows 1.9.0 Ive never played crossfire before so....
P.S. this is mutalisk6969, before my account wasnt activated yet.

If you have issues with python that you may be trying to run the server, and not the client. The server is unnecessary if you only want to play the game, there are a number of publically-accessible servers you can connect to (with different policies and management styles).
