Trapped in a dungeon

I have entered a small room and the door has closed behind me (and I can't
pick the lock or anything. The door is white with a picture of a skull on it.
I opened it by pulling a lever, but I can't find any switch inside the room
which would allow me to open it again. The dungeon is something like the
Pirates den (with lots of Pirates and Vikings) and is in the Port of Scorn.
The server I am using is something like crossfire.netarch.org. Could anybody
tell me if there is anything I can do apart from dying by letting my food run
out? Thanks.

well, if you logout, your character should be reverted to its last savebed in about half hour, so just leave, and come back tommorow, and you should be fine

Another possible option is to login another character and have them visit the map you are trapped in and open the gate/door/lever/etc. to let you out.

Sounds like the server in questions is/was: crossfire.netarbeiter.com
