Is there anyway to fix corroded items?

If it's armour, a scroll of Enchant Armour will remove a -1. But, the +1 enchantment will also add a few kg of weight to the armour too.

Another tactic, is to wear the affect armour (leave the rest of your gear at a safe location such as apartment) or wield the weapon in queswtion and have another player cast cancellation at you. After many attempts, that can remove the -1 from the carrosion.

Somewhere between 'before 1.0' and now, this has changed. Enchant armour now reduces the armour weight, but adds some item power and ac bonus. The armour-value (resistances) are untouched. Leaf, you really should play more ;)

Note that enchanting armour with negative 'bonus' changes item power as well, so cancellation is the preferred way.

Hmm.. I guess I haven't had to deal with acid damage or Enchanting armour since somewhere between " before 1.0' and now. " :P
