last said, repeat the last thing you said, incase someone dident hear, or you wish to correct spellings.

right click on the command typing box, click last said, and everything you said last will appear in the command typing box.

alternatly, click in the command box, press up, tap it X amount of times, to get what you said X amount of commands ago.

now thats a good idea...

Or a better option would be press the up key to see previous commands, as that is the same as what many applications (i.e. most cmd lines) aready use for the same purpose.

You know, I've had this idea for some time but never actually said anything about it. Done the up key thing several times reflixively.

I think it would have to be some key combination with the up arrow key, otherwise the character would take a step forward.

up arrow = single setp forward(north, up)
ctrl + up arrow = run forward(north, up)
shift + up arrow = fire north/up
alt + up arrow = this might work?

Implementation might be a whole new story though...

Up while the cursor is in the command box.

a = apply
a w/cursor in command box = put "a" in command box

well the up should only work in the command box. this also screws you over when you need to jump out of the way of a monster, or something pops up quickly. esc should drop whatevers in the box, or just drop you back to move area...

There's a slightly lengthy key combo for this, maybe it could be made faster.

It goes: shift+home, delete, enter.

I thought that was implied in the first place

This is somewhat separate from this topic, but I think that is also a good suggestion.
