necromancy

i was thinking, and i found thats theres no necromancy spell type, the pyromancy, evocation, soccery and summoning. why not necromancy? i have found hints of necromancy in ancient pupland once i killed the necromancer, such as one that effected zombies in a way that i can not quite remember right now. so was thinking that someone should add necromancy to crossfire as a new skill.
necromancy would be a verbl spell, like the ones found in pupland, you could keybind saying the word, and it would cause the spell to activate. this would not mess up the ancient pupland ones, for they would be exactly like this new necromancy, and i think its a cool way to have some spells work.
necromancy would be like the oposite of prayers, in a way. It would take up grace to use, and unlike prayers, you can go into the negitives of grace for a long way, but along with the risk of goddly retubution.
Any coments?

I rhink that necromancy goes hand in hand with devourers..

Devourers can summon. No change.
Just add another god only spell, raise undead.

But for it to be true necromancy, you'd have to perform it over a corpse, limb or extremity. Summons spiderhands, stomping dead, floating arms, floating legs, zombies or skellies.

Or you could just do "summon cult monster" with Devourers and forget the whole "necromancy" thing.

bort: i know, i was just saying that it seems like a summoning class spell.

what if we just gave devours summon cult monster an optional argument, if its over a corpse part, it will create a monster out of it?

so, you mean identify where the body part comes from, change it back to the monster with undead flag on and pet of the spellcaster ?
and of course limit the level of raised creature

something like that. maybe if you have a pile make it stronger, and depending on casters praying level, and condition of part.

and sorry, error : undead isn't a flag but a race :(

You can change race types...
That happened to a lot of dragons (like Azriel) when Mulley converted Geaen altar to Devourers in scorn once.
