Hi All.
Was wondering if you could help a Newbie out with a few questions. I used the Search Option and looked at the Manual. Eather I was getting cross-eyed or I totally missed it.

1) How do you sell Items? I go to the General Store, etc... but I do not see them.

2) Popular question but the few posts I looked at didn't really answer my question. How do you pray? I found the alter but what do I type. I tried say pray but nothing happened.

3) My food drops rapidly and my charator is getting ready to refer to himself in plural. Is the charator drunk or is it poisoned?

Enter the shop area - by standing ont he brown mat with the $ on it. Drop items on the store floor; as soon as the item touches the ground it is considered sold and the money is automatically added to your inventory.

Bind praying to a key like this:

'bind use_skill praying
<hit enter>
Hit the "p" key

Now, whenever you hit the "p" key you will pray, just like the "s" key is for search.

You are infected with a disease, specifically tapeworm.

A cure disease spell cast on you, a cure disease scroll successfully read(cast), or a restoration spell will "cure" you.

Hmmm. On question number 2 about prayer. I am standing over an alter and I pressed 'P'. It says unable to find skill praying. Is this something I have to learn somewhere?

Yep.

Some races start with praying by default, some classes get the skill for free. For everyone else, they either need a holy symbol in the inventory or they need to learn the skill from a skill scroll called Praying. Both the scroll and holy symbols are random treasure in many dungeons and occasionally available in some shops.

Ask for a spare holy talismen from someone.

If you have a disease, casting restoration can also kill it.
