To clarify...

Visit the static metaserver page and locate the server you want to connect to.

Copy & paste or manually enter the server name *or* IP address of the server you want to connect to within the Crossfire Client

Hit enter

You should now connect to the server, see the username prompt, etc.

For the moment, the Metaserver is back online and active again (Fri Jun 24 04:35:50 UTC 2005)
