I wonder why people are having these problems.. I installed GTK to the crossfire install folder, then copied the files from ./lib/ to one-level-up (ie: crossfire folder)..

Haven't had ANY problems..

I downloaded the client, and it said I was missing a file, so I read the message board. The link where the libraries should have been has something wrong with it. Where can I get the files I need?

Seems the site is having some issues, yeah......
Guess you'll hafta wait for them to come up again, or find a mirror (don't know any, sorry)

I am extremely new.

I have downloaded and installed EVERYTHING. Libraries, client, and libglib<blah blah>.dll It still says I am missing the lib glib file. This question was already answered, but they had a win 95. I have XP. Can someone please tell me what I should do?
My name on the game will probebly be Meletar. [If I ever get this sorted out]
Thanks :)

Did you try the registry key trick?
Did you try the PATH trick?
Did you try latest client (1.7.0 for Windows), whose installer should fix those issues?
What version of GTK do you have?
