the thing is, at the moment, there is no world map travel because everything is treated as an extension of scorn.

stoneville,santo dominion and wolfsburg are all reached by ship.
red island and lone town by dragon

brest, lake country and nurnberg by portal.

this means that the effective size of scorn is [counts, loses track, guesses] 9 towns.

now if they weren't so easily accessible, scorn would become a far less attractive place for high level characters, as it is, they only budge from there when/if they get a guild, and there they have the same thing only with a portal to navar too.

No, make travel more difficult to someone based in scorn, then cities would get used like they should, with it actually meaning something to have a home city, and with meaningful journeys to other places.

After all, excepting guilds (who teleport everywhere anyway)
can anyone here say that they have honestly spent more than 5 minutes at a time in stoneville? or darcap?
