More mapmakers would be good. Men: it's easy to make maps for crossfire,;practice a bit, read the howto's, and then bring them down upon us.

(Note: I do make maps)

So has anyone heard anything new about this?
I just stopped to reply to someone's tell and a fiend with a rod took me down in one blast.
I don't think lvl 111's should die in one hit.

Yes, we all keep dying, I mean hey! I'm > 110 and I am afraid to even approach a Wizzard, some dark elves also get nasty banishment casts. Luckily I am only hurt by one type of banishment, but what about all others who are hurt by *any* ?

I submitted a cloak of Unholy Protection. As one of its properties it has ghosthit +50. It is black in colour and has a corresponding alchemy formula. It is now merged into the source tree. This was a few weeks ago so it may be on cf.mf.net server now (although you'd have to ask Leaf).

I'd like some feedback on it, as it may need some tweaking.

My objective is that a level 110 character (with 500hp) wielding this cloak, an amulet of hw resist, and two rings of hw resist should survive 2 blasts from lvl 110 banishment rod, and still have 50hp left to make a graceful getaway.

Feedback on the objective would also be appreciated :)

I don't think +50 will cut it, undead are -100 to begin with.
(Granted I haven't done the math)

This item is in CVS BTW - it is just waiting for metalforge to update their arches. Perhaps some other servers have implemented this already however.
