Oh no! *prays that his dragonskin fire resist will be enough... and tries to remember to bring some fire resist potions*

Near the road between scorn and navar, it's rather difficult to find. As this it's not the spoiler area here, I won't say the exact coords here but I can PM that to you if you want or tell you on CF some time.

I don't either.... though it really should to defeat fireborn more easily...

This is sad. A whole week just to get 6 players signed up and we only have 4 (maybe 5 Leaf says). Well, I said 6 signed up by Thursday or I wouldn't do it. I stick by my word.

Folks, a 4 person team war would be fine by me, but not tonight. I need to finish work on running some cable at a client site anyway (have to do it after hours) and was just going to work the DM sponsored team war into my schedule only if we could get at least 6 players signed by Thursday. If another DM wants to take over for tonight I have no problem with that. I'll consider doing another team war or a quest later ... maybe.

Sorry for your disappointment, Rednaxela. I know you were really looking forward to this. If I do another event (teamwar or DM quest) I'll be sure you know about it. But after trying to do this one two times(!) I'm disinclined to try again anytime soon.

heh, you're likely as disappointed as Rednaxela and me :)

The problem is that a lot of chars that would be interested in such a team war do not read here, or think they are not (yet) strong enough to battle.

with regards to the latter, its no problem, just leave the fighting up to the other team members!

anyway, now i have time enough to install win98 on this box (trying bochs, i don't understand wine ;))

A final note on the arena: i don't like that the opposing teams stand in a straight line, this makes casting MS as soon as you enter too easy.
It also limits slow players, i would vote for an arena that has its entrances north and east - for example.

From the motd:
(4) Scheduled quest on the agenda, details:

Plus, Katia (and others..) made announcements to visit the forum (with the URL) concerning the quest on a daily basis at different times.

the problem here is that Inferno is stuck behind the same NAT as me.

Gets fun at times though

So do i, but icestorms are not as effective as meteor swarm is :)

I can easily kill cyclops with meteor swarm, but not with icestorms...
Same applies to wizards (they are too dangerous to mess with)
