The latest version of GTK client for windows http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/cros ... e?download
has fixes for some memory leaks, has a better installer and uses a new gtk lib package I believe. If it does not fix your issue on win98 I would check back on the CF site on occasion and try it out as updates are made.

Do you ever wonder, that if you cant run gtk client on native,
run it under QEMU or VMware?

I can run the windows version in vmware(linux is the host OS and windows the guest) - but I don't know that windows won't just crash vmware if you run it windows 98..

VMWare has a 30 day trial, I suppose you could give it a whirl, although with the cost of VMWare if you wanted to go that route, just upgrade to win2k

My GTK client is crashing a lot on Ubuntu Linux, I started a new thread in this forum before I saw this thread.
