Yes, it is very slow. On some days I don't complain, like today when the power cut finished I managed to get 33kbit/s through. But on other days, especially with bad weather conditions it slows down to under 10kbit/s. Then the phone lines behave really oddly, like the switching hardware at the ATM freezing up after getting hit by lightning.
