i believe he was moddled after jehova...

but gods should also be able to have more than one enemy. like Ix would be against rugilli and gorok. theyre both fire, so it makes sense that they should be togheter. Ix should aslo side with devours, since theyre both cold.

devourers is death not cold (although gaining cold attack would be a nice adition to the god!)

devourers is already too powerful.

It should get more negative attributes, not extra attacks.

I disagree.

Being undead is negative enough with all the holy word attacks that monsters can use. Plus it is difficult to level up devourer praying at first.

but all other players use devourer weapons as a base for enchanting.

It is so superior here that there is no other choice that is seriously considered by most players. This means that it is unbalanced, because that /should/ be a hard choice to make.

i know devours is death, but they also get a small cold bonus, hence grouping them with Ix.

You state this as if it is a bad thing. It is not.

Oh dear, that "unbalanced" argument again. Some items, skills, whatnot are just superior. Thus it mirrors real life for In Real Life there is no "balance" . Your brain may be superior to my brain thus you get big paychecks for your superior ideas and I do not, that is just the way it is. So, having a superior "cult deity" for weapon blessings in crossfire is not a True Problem, it is only a perceived problem. Besides, those that like to experiment and try more challenging weapon blessings will do so. Those that are lamers and always want devourer blessed weapons ... who cares what they do? I play for me, not them. =p

OT, but wraith can also be given a skill called 'touch of the wraith' which deals drain, food, and lifestealing, besides 1 phys damage per turn to anyone standing next to the wraith. I gues it's a very SG Atlantis-like suggestion...
