i dont want to wait 6 months for one to open up. and they get grabbed really damn fast. its hard enough to get enough diamonds for my apartment expansions, let alone a shop.
and i have to be on at about the exact moment they open up, with all the money...

this is why I said that arguably there should be an auction, open it for 24 hours, n highest bids in that time win the n available pshops.

ugh. newbies will never be able to get in.
they will all get taken by older players who have the money availible.
what i want is just a bunch of small 32x32 shops that are cheap to buy, and we can sell our stuff in. and have requests for stuff to be made.

why do you assume that? If they get reset after 6 months of inactivity then their should be some reasonable turnover of them. (there have been at least 2 reset since they were introduced).
At that time then, yes, lots of money will leave the game, this I consider a good thing.
Bear in mind also that many of the old players don't have so much money, the damned heretics do, because they exploited an alchemy bug mercilessly, but other than that I don't think it is so much. Personally I have around 800K plat, I don't consider that I need more, and horde items instead. This after a year of playing on MF.
Also bear in mind that not everyone /cares/ to have a pshop, I was tempted to get one, but converting the diamonds was too much hassle, so I didn't.
Certainly I wouldn't get one that cost substantially more than the current price (as it likely would in auction), I just don't care enough for one.
