When you use the quit command through either method:
'quit
-OR-
File -> Quit Character
This will PERMANENTLY delete your character.
Yes, this is as in gone forever*!
* Some servers and/or admins may have a backup method in place to restore a character, but this depends on how often the backup scheme is scheduled - you can lose anywhere from a few hours to days to even week(s) of progress if/when your character is restored.

i think... i signed in and it looks like its brand new o.o;; i think it used one of my chars i made to help a friend (temp ones, deleted after use mostly, except for this one...) get started on the server n such (to show them through the selection) x.x;;
