DM sponsored Team war for prizes at 18:30 CDT (23:30 GMT)

Post by poof »

On metalforge at 18:30 CDT (23:30 GMT) tonight will be a teamwar for magehound, energy bolt and energy ball spellboks. Winning team gets the spellbooks and fees refunded. Losing team ... loses.

There will be some baddies in the arena with the teams to make things ... interesting. =D

Need at least 3 players per team or the deal is off.

Reason for edit: Based on a conversation with Leaf and Katia I cannot offer energy bolt and energy ball at this time. The problem is those can (and will!) drain player experience. I tested with poof and lost 5 levels overall in about 2 seconds plus several levels in all poof's skills. Very bad. If someone changes those to just life drain spells, gets them updated in CVS and they get onto metalforge then I can offer them. But that probably won't be done in time for offering this time.

I'm VERY interested however this weekend I will sadly won't have internet after today till monday afternoon. I heard on IRC about there not being enough players right now, so I really hope that it is'nt on some time this weekend when I don't have internet (family moving houses, internet being set up at the new house on monday)

Ok. I am not promising anything. But if I have free time next Friday (April 15 - tax day in the USA) I will set up the team war again. Time will be the same (6:30PM CDT - 18:30 CDT - 23:30 GMT). Will require a minimum of 6 players, 3 per team, more will be better. Rules of the contest to be announced if we get enough players assembled in the arena. Until then only I will know the rules.

IMPORTANT

If you intend to play respond to this post! If you want others to play tell them to respond to this post! If I do not see at least 6 posts from different players by Thursday night then I will plan to spend Friday evening with my wife. =P Only players with unique IP addresses will be allowed to compete. No two players from the same address in the arena at the same time. This is to reduce possible "sock puppet" players.
