Server down - what happens to characters?

I assume the server is down this morning (25/6 - 7 am GMT). What is going to happen to my character? I was somewhere safe, Scorn harbour, but I can't get reconnected to save my character, the server doesn't seem to come back up. I will have to leave in a short while, and if the server comes back a minute after that, my character will simply stand there and starve to death until he runs out of stats. If that happens, can I have him restored to his current level? And who shall I talk to about this?

You should be fine.. Most of the time when I come back from a server crash, I'm right where I left off before the crash..

But if the character just stands there, won't it use up it's food and eventually keep dying?

You *should* get logged off automatically in 15 minutes.. If this was a server crash, you're not even in the game..
