Server offline?

I'm having trouble connecting to metalforge.real-time.com and the
metaserver. However, the webpage for the metaserver appears to
be updating. Is anyone else having this problem?

I can only connect to the OLD metalforge server.. Cannot connect to metaserver or the new metalforge server!

Still unable to connect to the metaserver - still down I suppose - Did Leaf and the Metalforge guys forget to pay their bills?

Oddest thing is that I can ping the Metalforge servers but when attempting to connect with the client it reponds that there is no such server.

In the Devel Mailing list there was - not too long ago - a post regarding some scripting(or something) updates to the Metaserver - could this be causing the problem? Seems a bit too cooincidental to me.

crossfire.metalforge.net is up.
Simply type this ip in the server list (instead of typing 1, 2 or 3), it should connect.

Sorry about that...

The servers lost power in yet another snow and ice storm while I was on vacation.

The metaserver script didn't restart nicely, nor did crossfire on either server.

You must be located on the East Coast eh? I have a friend living in Halifax and he's had so much snow in the last few days/weeks that he can't even leave the house... Truthfully he sent me pictures of his backyard ... well they are motsly just white stuff but you get the idea...

Did you have a good vacation away from the cold?

It was good to see the old server list back up from the Metaserver
