methinks most of your "problems" are actually features of the areas involved.

in at least one case, Precident: Path to Cloud city. It's a 1-way path once you get high enough. A 1-way paath is NOT a bug.

Ok, recently a fix was put in place to prevent players from making "dancing sword" traps, then killing them w/ dancing sword. The exp. gained is 1 now, I think, per kill.

Problem: Stoneville, bloodwell. It's a BIG bunch of summoning traps. Suddenly all the demons are worth 1 exp ...

SP regen

Suggestion is this: Sp regen, without items boosting +magic, should relate to Max Sp. I don't think this should be a BIG factor, as items can give +magic, but all the same, I think that the higher your Sp., the faster your SP needs to regen.

Bug or not?

I'm curious. Invisibility, and improved invis. grant a LONG time (nearing 5 mins?) invis. for a mage to stand off and cast spells, regen. spell points/health, etc.

Yet the same spell used by a fighter w/ high magic skills = about 20-30 seconds AT MOST (15-20 is more likely) before invis. runs out ...

Perhaps you should play the game a LOT more (or even a bit more) before contributing opinions about the death penalty? You're seeming a bit ignorant about what death really means in this game... : /

Ehh ...

I've run across the "new" comet/meteor swarm fire damage recently, and I cannot say it's "out of line" at all. The fire damage @ 80% or so resist still hurts, but not really by that much, given regen attribs. from rings/items.

What DOES hurt is getting nailed by the "comet" balls. Meteor ...

Has anybody actually considered the current death penalty as it relates to the split-skill system?

I'm asking this because it's fairly difficult to advance "minor" skills (say lockpicking, inscription, bargaining, etc.), yet it's VERY EASY to lose that exp. via 1 death. An hour or 2 of ...

I'll leave w/ this, though. We shouldn't be surfing cold spells! Or any OTHER spell that has the ability to push stuff around. If the powers that be decide that we SHOULD be surfing spells, I hope the have the wit about them to note that we should NOT take full ...

I meant decrease : P

Especially now that we're all learning to surf cold spells. When 400 HP goes away in 5 seconds from 1 cold spell, something is wrong.

Edit: Meant 600 million+ in the first post. Added a zero. : )

Yeah, I KNOW the possible server settings can make death Perm., but when it's not perm., the settings need tweaking.

Point: It's been said many times that players don't explore enough, they'd rather go to the TC.
